What is a Subluxation? Your central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is responsible for sending messages to every cell, tissue, organ and system in your body. This communication is made possible by your spinal neurologic network. This vast communication network is in charge of virtually every function in your body and determines whether you enjoy good health or disease. The central nervous system is so important that nature built armor around it, your skull and spinal column. However, even with this inborn protection, our nervous system can experience interference, injury or disturbance. We call this damage to our nervous system a Subluxation. Subluxations can have devastating effects on your overall health and well-being. Our primary goal is to detect and correct the subluxations that are interfering with your nervous system and health thus allowing your body to heal and establish a healthier you. Subluxations are often called the Silent Killer because of their nature of not causing any pain until they are quite progressed. Subluxations usually go undiagnosed for years as they deteriorate your overall health potential in the process. All individuals of all ages should be checked for subluxations. Have your family checked for nerve interference or subluxations today.
Chemicals are one of the most common causes of subluxations. Don't overlook the potential that chemicals have for producing subluxations Is it any surprise that we are subluxated when we discover the extent that our body is exposed to chemicals everyday. There is no escape from the chemical attack. Chemicals are found in the air, soil, water, food, homes, plants, and pets and have penetrated every ecosystem on the planet. Not a single child today is born free of chemicals. Researchers suspect exposure to tiny amounts of some environmental chemicals in the womb or early childhood may permanently alter a child's intelligence, motor skills, memory, behavior, fertility and immune response. According to recent estimates from the National Academy of Sciences, it is concluded that 360,000 children, 1 in every 200, suffer from developmental or neurological disabilities caused by a range of toxic exposures. Chemicals are a direct poison to our body and nervous system. Everything that we put in or on our body, what we eat, drink, breathe, place on our skin, or are exposed to in our environment that is synthetic may have a negative consequence to our health or nerve system and may result in subluxations. The most common causes of subluxation is emotional stress. Stress enters our world from day one. An infant may experience anxiety when their needs are not being met by their caregiver (food, love, hygiene, comfort, nurture, etc.). Stressors then continue throughout our entire life. In our modem day world stress tends to be persistent, pervasive and non-forgiving. Stress seems to come at us from every direction. Our lives seem to be filled with the emotions of stress: worry, fear, anxiety, loneliness, pressure, anger, regret, pressure, sadness the list goes on. The pressures from work, relationship problems, and challenges with our children, money problems and personal losses have become the norm in contemporary society. Television and the internet only add to our levels of stress. Disturbing images of war, terrorism, murders, 9/11, disasters, and plane crashes play nightly on our television. The body can only handle so much before it breaks down. The build up of stress is often manifested in the body in the form of subluxations. The effects of stress become ingrained in our nervous system and the damaging effects accumulate over time. Virtually every system of the body (e.g., the heart and cardiovascular system, the immune system, the lungs, digestive system, sensory organ and brain) may become challenged. The effect of stress-induced subluxations can have far reaching effects on health. We may not be aware of the accumulated stress that they are experiencing. With the stresses placed upon our nervous system in today's society, it's no wonder their that our health is worse than ever.
