courtney chatterton is a 2003 graduate of the galen institute’s medical massage therapy program and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and anthropology in 1997 from eastern connecticut state university. she is nationally certified, licensed by the state of connecticut and the city of oakdale, a member of associated bodywork and massage professionals and a certified master/teacher of reiki.

since she began practicing, courtney has worked in physical therapy, chiropractic and group massage practices as well as day spas and salons. this wide array of experience has helped courtney develop an energetic and therapeutic approach to facilitating measurable improvement in chronic pain, tension and stress as well as bringing clients’ awareness to their bodies so they can act as their own best healers.

courtney has been an instructor of massage at fox institute of business and branford hall career institute; both in connecticut, and brings a deep understanding of the body and various bodywork techniques to her work. she incorporates swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, and acupressure to create customized treatment plans for each client’s needs. courtney also offers thai massage, aromatic hot body compress treatments and reiki sessions for those who seek something a little different.
